Yeah lots of the odd year or nature/magic themed Power Ranger series are having the rangers themselves be their zords(maybe to cut down on the costume costs as the same suit can be used twice!). Either that or they are trying to mix up the series every other year by having vehicle zords then magical/natural(life force) zords the next year. From what I've seen in commercials they have already gone back to an old theme(nature/wild animals?) which has already been done.... In some ways their toys are already "self warmers" the moment they come out due to the constantly changing cast, theme, and focus of the show, because next year they're just be another new toy line for the new show/season(if you can call them that). Being cast in that show is like being branded loser or "go nowheresvill" fast type of person. You almost never see the actors again(it either has to be another series of Power Rangers or a "Past team/new team, team up" show or not at all). I've seen only one other actress try to break to the "Power" hold, and it was a crappy TV movie with another "nowhere, nobody" as a lead.
Well that I didn't know nor wanted too, ever.... Still look at Jason David Frank: Green, White, Red, and so far Black Rangers he has played. Not to mention that name....plus the fact that much like another previous ranger in Austin St. John (look how he looked in 2007: [link] and he seems to now look a little like John Belushi I think) in that he is also a Ranger that can kick ass after the cameras stop rolling. He's the only one still holding on to the work and series.
