Though in the Bay movie he might not get quite as good gas mileage with his muscle car alt mode.
And well...I don't know about Optimus, he might be able to use bio-diesel which might make him a "power master" in which he gets his power from an organic source(directly this time I might add). Either that or fry grease is an option(maybe getting work hauling for McD's or Burger King?).
